Art therapy group sessions are facilitated by art therapist Andrea Clare Plunkett in a 6-week block with the RHA.
Art Therapy offers the opportunity for expression and communication and can be used across the lifespan. During times of stress or difficulty making art in a safe therapeutic space can offer a unique way of processing the world around us. The group format of these art therapy sessions allows for an enjoyable and social element while offering a unique way to engage with artworks from RHA’s exhibitions. Participants are ensured that no skills in art are required as the process is the main focus, however after the six sessions you will have built up a regular art making practice that you may wish to continue.
