P.J. Lynch: Life Room Studies with Added Drama As an illustrator P.J. Lynch makes pictures with a strong narrative core. This interest will be reflected in his three day life room workshop.
Working with male and female models posed nude, partially draped and clothed, the emphasis will be on more dramatic poses and varied lighting arrangements. Beginning with shorter studies the poses will increase in length through the course of the workshop.
Various drawing media will be used and painting will be in oils or acrylic. This workshop will appeal to those with experience in life drawing and an interest in illustrative, narrative picture-making

Una Sealy ARHA: Painting from Life This workshop will focus on working from a life model with a sustained three day pose, to enable a reasonably large finished painting to be executed. The process of painting from start to finish will be studied, from coloured grounds, through composition, drawing, anatomy, colour mixing, and painting technique.
The materials used will be oil or acrylic, and the workshop will suit those with experience in life drawing who would like to further develop their painting skills.
To ensure the professional standard of the series, the workshop places will be allocated through an application process. Places are limited so early application is advised. Artists interested in participating, should apply by completing the relevant application form from the links in the lefthand column of this page including:
- A short CV (Word or PDF documents only. Maximum file size 500K).
- Up to three low resolution images of their work (JPG format only. Maximum file size 500K).
General enquiries for the workshops should be made to the Academy Co-ordinator, Fernando Sanchez by phone 01 6612558 or email fernando@rhagallery.ie
