Self Directed Life Drawing Sessions - Thursdays 2012/2013 The RHA School is delighted to announce an open call to artists to apply for places on the weekly life-drawing sessions in the RHA School Studio 2012/2013. Sessions are being offered on a weekly basis on Thursdays over three terms.
The terms are structured as follows:
| Autumn Term: | 8 Week Term starting on Thursday 20th of September 2012 |
| Winter Term: | 8 Week Term starting on Thursday 10th of January 2013 |
| Spring Term: | 8 Week Term starting on Thursday 11th of April 2013 |
Thursday Session times:
| Morning: | 11.15am to 1.15pm |
| Afternoon: | 2.15pm to 6.15pm |
| Full Day: | 11.15am to 1.15pm and 2.15pm to 6.15pm |
The format of the 2012/2013 Thursday Life Drawing Sessions will remain a self-directed exercise for artists wishing to work directly from observation of life-models. RHA Members will facilitate each day. Easels and boards are supplied and artists bring their own paper and preferred drawing or painting materials.
Artists interested in participating, should apply by completing the application form from the link in the lefthand column of this page including:
- A short CV (Word or PDF documents only. Maximum file size 500K).
- Up to three low resolution images of their work (JPG format only. Maximum file size 500K).
- Please state if you wish to attend the full day, morning or afternoon sessions.
- Please also state which term or terms you wish to attend.
Application is ONLY available on-line.
Places are limited. While every effort will be made to accommodate selected artists’ first preferences, it may be worth noting a second alternative, should there be an imbalance in demand for one particular slot.
The deadline for applications is Friday 17th August
Artists are requested to pre-pay for the full term prior to the terms starting.
