From Annunciation to Nativity, A walk and talk tour with Eimear Walsh

Please note: This event has been rescheduled to Sunday 9th of December (Previously Saturday 15th December)

In Christian faith, The Holy Trinity is given as the model upon which people today should build their own families. But the relationship between God, The Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ and Joseph of Nazareth is anything but ordinary.

What can we learn from depictions of the Holy Family in art and literature throughout the ages? Join Eimear Walshe on a tour which includes both the religious paintings at the National Gallery of Ireland, and the Methodist Modern Art Collection at the RHA.

Eimear Walshe is Research Fellow at the Van Abbemuseum, and founder of The Department of Sexual Revolution Studies. Walshe uses study in Queer Theory and Feminist Epistemology towards the production of sculpture, publishing, performances, and lectures.

All Welcome, Free Event. Please BOOK HERE.
