Ages 8 – 12
In this workshop, children will learn to make their own personal story cube through drawing and origami. After working individually, children will bring their blocks together to build a sculptural composition. Children will develop stories as a group. By making simple changes to the building structure, the group will explore open-ended story possibilities. Children will engage in creative thinking, team-work, problem solving, and material exploration, and learn skills including origami folding, building, sculpting, engineering, and storytelling.
