In this workshop we will explore drawing, patterns, and colour to create fun and unusual optical illusion art. We will explore the work of artists such as Bridget Riley for inspiration and proceed to creating our own individual artworks. We will experiment with differ- ent ways of problem solving using pattern, interesting colour combinations and creative thinking. Working in a range of media such as pencils, markers, pens, and paint, we will learn how to turn pattern drawings into fun and engaging images that communicate moods and ideas.
