On 31 July we will visit Farmleigh House and receive a tour of this historic Edwardian house. Friends of the RHA have also been exclusively invited to visit the top floor of the house, which is not accessible to the public. Formerly the nursery floor, it has been completely refurbished in a modernist style with newly hung contemporary art works from The Office of Public Works collection. We will also visit the exhibition Face to Face at the Farmleigh Gallery, a collection of Irish portraits by Anthony Palliser. Lunch will be had at the Boathouse café which overlooks the ornamental lake at Farmleigh.
There is a fee of € 20 per person for this event which covers lunch and tours.
