Join painters Kurt Opperman and Ramon Kassam for an informal discussion, discussing the work in Opperman’s current exhibition Pink Bulldozer in the Ashford gallery.
Ramon Kassam is an Irish artist based in Thomastown Kilkenny, paintings forms the basis of his practice. Kassam’s work re-connects with the concept of the artist as creative subject, combining the thematic of the artist’s workspace (canvas, studio, gallery and environment) with formal and conceptual references to modernist abstraction. Kassam is a graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design and has been exhibiting regularly since 2013. Solo Exhibitions include Green on Red Gallery Dublin, Limerick City Gallery of Art. Group shows include Edythe Broad Art Museum in Michigan, The Lewis Glucksman Gallery Cork, EVA International Limerick.
