Dublin has a new team bringing an artisan and authentic Italian offering to the capitals cultural and cafe scene.
Housed in the RHA, Coppa is a collaboration between the Bereen brothers, Conor & Marc of Coppinger Row & Damson Diner, DJ & Event Producer Hugh Scully and Italian Restaurant Manager, Federico Riezzo. The foursome have created a space in the RHA Gallery in Ely Place where clean interior lines, a smooth soundtrack, and stripped-back, flavour focused Italian influenced fare come together to create a welcoming environment.
Coppa offers hearty and homely rustic food (in sandwiches, salads and soups), along with some of the best coffee around. Their ethos of ‘Basic but Beautiful’ food and wine perfectly compliments the artwork and the environs of the cafe.
Open seven days a week, from 8.30am, the team are launching into the gallery’s show season with Apertivo evenings from 5pm til 8pm throughout May where customers can compliment the art on show with fine wines, Prosecco, Aperol Spritz cocktails and complimentary Stuzzichino (Italian style tapas).
The foursome are dedicated to filling a gap in the capital’s culinary and cultural scene and are taking an approach that puts ingredients, provenance and flavor at the forefront of their offering. Coppa infuses food, culture, music and art together in one of Dublin’s best-loved art institutions.
